Switched bezel on GMT - left a tiny mark or two..
Hey Everyone,
I decided to switch out my black bezel for a Pepsi bezel yesterday on my old GMT... I followed the tutorials here on how to do it, I taped up the watch, and the bread knife I used... the bezel did pop off easy, but I did leave some scratch marks on the casing near the lugs, and a tiny mark on the bezel itself. Personally I'm not too worried about it anyway at the moment because the bracelet is quite scratched up and the watch is about a year away from servicing but my question is this: Will Rolex know what I've done and refuse to service the watch? I know that I'll need to switch back to the black bezel before sending it in but will they refuse to touch the watch now? I hope not! Anyway, loving the Pepsi Bezel, and loving my new GMTIIc, and I feel the watches are a little more diverse now. |
