Beware of Joyful_Watches

I recently purchased a super nice “looking” 1502 gilt dial that turned tropical brown. When I received the watch it wasn’t running. I went to set the time and the crown and stem came completely out…. I expressed my concerns and they said it was an easy fix.

I sent it to Philip Ridley who let me know the watch needed a complete overhaul. It was dry as a bone, screw and lever were broke, tube and crown needed replacement, as well as other worn parts.

Showed the seller pictures and videos to which they replied it’s vintage and only the tube needs to be replaced. Offered me $100 and wouldn’t even consider splitting the cost of a service.

They are very unprofessional and rude. I’m out $1400 now and just wanted to let you all know to be careful.
