Bezel Removal and Click Spring Replacement (A13340)
So I recently added another one of these ( the A13340) to my collection. The pre-owned pieces is in decent shape, running at -2 seconds per day as the overseas dealer pointed out in the listing.
However, I discovered the bezel was shockingly stuff, and eventually would not rotate anymore. The seller was pleasant to deal with and offered a partial refund after seeing the video I made highlighting the issue. Anyway, I'm satisfied but do not yet wish to send this watch in for a service at Breitling, especially not if it's running at -2 seconds per day. I'm not sure if it's a process I would be able to do with the right screw driver (fitting perfectly and not damaging the bezel screws). I was able to find the part listed online, but wanted to see if any of you have experience with this or advice on how to best have it done. Images of the part from an online listing below: |
