I was of the belief Rolex was a requirement for proper golfing? I see no reason not too.

Anyway, I can also endorse shooting whilst wearing a Rolex: its not gonna hurt anything.

Rolex built their reputation on toughness and water resistance, just because others found a way to make tough watches, too, does not detract from their reliability. We sometimes tend to forget these things because we are obsessive WIS (most of all LOL), and Rolex are regarded more as jewelry these days.
