Full Circle

It's been 15 years since a last looked down at Submariner on my wrist. I sold a 14060 in 2012 after not wearing it for a few years. For some reason, I just never bonded with it and after selling it, I sort of lost interest in the whole watch hobby. Fast forward to 2019 when my wife gifted me a 214270. It was instant love (as much as one can have for an object). I still love the Explorer and wouldn't part with it for any other watch due to the memories I have with it, but I have to say that I'm feeling a similar love with a recent acquisition that has brought me back to my first really nice watch... the Submariner. The 124060 is really special. I'm mesmerized by it every time I look down and can say I fully understand why so many have been waiting so long to get the call.
