Speaking of Montblanc…….

In my absence, I picked up this. Never thought I would be able to reach for it but found a spectacular deal on a used one. This is absolutely the grail pen for me! James Purdey and Sons Meisterstuck. I think it’s based on a Montblanc 146. The checkering is flawless. Seriously! It’s perfect. I went through it repeatedly looking for flaws. As I understand it, it was all done by hand. I believe the engraving is stamped on the cap in my research about the issue. Both stampings are different though. It writes about as good as all Montblancs do. No complaints. Wonderful pen! I couldn’t be happier
