New Submariner

Well, I’ve been waiting for an Air King for 11 months. I saw an instagram post from Rolex advertising the submariner, so I asked my AD out of curiosity if a submariner is a shorter wait than an Air King. She texted back saying that they had someone back out of the submariner and I could buy it since they felt bad the Air King has taken so long. She said that they have considerable interest in the submariner.

So I waited 2 hours for a submariner. Unbelievable. I like collecting classic watches, so the submariner is still a great choice and most people would like it more than the Air King. If someone would’ve told me a year ago I would’ve waited this long for an Air King but could get a submariner, wouldn’t have believed it.
