40th birthday watch

Just turned 40 on Sunday, I knew at the beginning of the year that I wanted a new watch to celebrate. Something that “felt” older, I wanted a datejust. I reached out to my AD in Feb and asked for this specific combination. To my surprise they called me in May, so I bought it and stored it in my safe deposit box. I wasn’t able to pick it up on Saturday since the bank was closed, so I celebrated without it. I was able to break away from work early today and pick it up.

I have to say so far I’m liking the dial and jubilee bracelet. Let’s see what I think in the long run. Also this is my first new from AD Rolex.
