Sydney's Seafood Day-Date

Earlier in the year I scored a Bluesy to join my Slate YM and Rootbeer.

When I collected it I asked my AD about the odds of getting a full PM watch. He said that'd be a chat for the future but asked what I was keen on. I highlighted the rose gold olive dialled Day Date as something I liked. That was the sum of the chat.

I'd planned to go for a beer with him in a few months time, but I'd say within a month of our initial cursory chat he called and said "your Day Date is here, d'you still want it".

The timing was awful, the fiancé was a tad grumpy, but actually quite understanding after a few days, and I was broke.

Anyway I paid a deposit and have been drip feeding $$$ ever since.

I had to plan a trip to get the purchase duty free, so long story short I flew to Sydney at 6am yesterday, collected the watch at the airport, spent the day walking around Sydney - effing cool place - and enjoyed a few pre-lunch beers in a bar overlooking the harbour bridge, before having a seriously good lunch. and then flying home to NZ at 6pm.

Cool watch. quite pink. which I love.

What am I wearing today? Why my Linde Werdelin of course.
