Was thinking about getting a new Submariner Black Date as my first Rolex. Tricky buying from ADs as I'm a newbie and have to build up the rapport.

Was considering going through the grey market in Singapore.

- AD price goes for around 10,900 USD

- Grey Market in Singapore goes for around 13,950 USD (new)

Any advice on the range to haggle for? Any negotiation techniques recommended when dealing in the grey market?

Aside from being a great piece was also thinking that this could hold value over a long period of time as it's generally in demand and is a classic :)
