FS: 1920's Dunklings Trench Watch with White Porcelain Dial "Oversized"



Case: Excellent condition 40mm case with swivel lugs and some wear from use and age. Comes with a manual wind movement.

Dial: Excellent white porcelain dial with Arabic numerals with lume that has aged to a creamy yellow hue. The lume glows briefly when subjected to intense light, which is correct for watches from this period. The 5 o'clock marker was likely relumed sometime after the watch was produced, but early on as it has patinated to the same hue as the rest of the markers and glows and fades similarly, but the glow lingers a short while longer. The dial has one light horizontal crack near the bottom of the sub-dial.
Dunklings was an Australian jewelry retailer in Melbourne.

Hands: Excellent original blued cathedral hands with lume that has aged the same as the markers on the dial. The lume in the hands was likely replaced when the 5 o'clock marker was redone because the glow intensity and fade is the same for both.

Bracelet/Strap: Excellent brown leather strap.

Accessories/Extras: This watch comes with only the watch as shown in the photos.
