Time Keeping & Cycling

After a 10 year hiatus I have returned to Rolex and the 'sickness' that is buying watches. I have worn my 126610LV aka Starbucks for a month now, only removing it to shower. The watch keeps perfect time.

I am a keen road cyclist and regularly spend 5 hours in the saddle avoiding the potholes in the UK. I have found that over that period of time the watch looses 2 seconds, it's position being 12 o'clock down. This is easily compensated for by placing the watch 'Dial Up' overnight where it gains 2 seconds and back to perfect time. Unbelievable!

Just wanted to share.
