Newbie question

Hi, as a newbie non watch owner but with a father who owns a Rolex which will eventually come to me I am trying to identify. Due to Alzheimer’s none of the family know anything about the watch. I am trying to identify the watch for insurance purposes. As mentioned will be left to me and has great sentimental value. Suspect it might have been purchased in the 60s in far east. Have no other details than a poor photo as the watch is stored away. Searching on the internet I cannot see anything similar at all. It seems to have an unusual style of strap in the photo. Sorry have no serial numbers and face details are blurry on the old photo I will attach - believed to be gold of some sort. If anyone has any ideas - precision Oysterdate perhaps?
