For example, I think that, generally speaking, there is so much room to improve on the case functionality and case aesthetics. Most watch brands outside of DeBethune, GF, Urwerk, MB&F, etc., don't pay much attention to it.
So when you make a time-only round-case watch, you can only really compare and contrast the Promenade with other watchmakers who are making the more traditional round time-only watches. With that in mind, I don't think this moves the needle much when compared to finishing vis-a-vis RG, LF, Dufour, or even the Code 11.59, all else being equal; or the dial designs vis-a-vis Voutilainen, Rexhepi, Moser, etc.
I want to view Czapek as a leader vs a follower in the independent space. But I don't see it with this watch. Hopefully they are just rounding out the collection now and biding their time to introduce something that will push the envelope next year.
Am I off in my expectation of the brand?

Watched the video clip on the new model. I kinda liked them. I’m a bit of a czapek fanboy though. I own the collective dial and see the similarities. That dial is going to be really dynamic IRL
