Oyster Centregraph

Hi. I have a working Oyster Centregraph watch that was passed on when my father in law passed away 20 years ago. I was looking for some info as to age and value on it. I haven't had the back cover off as I wasn't sure how to do it but there are 2 numbers on the back cover. (160900 & 3478)It also has the 12-23 hours in red on the face and it has a winder. My father in law was in the Canadian army in 1943-45 and I wondered if that was here he acquired it. Any info would be appreciated.
Thanks, Gord
