Holy Grail and Eagle have both landed!!
Last month RG Daytona OF 3 days ago RG DD40 Olive Watch budget this year is officially blown! The Daytona is my first oyster flex piece and it just an absolutely banger of a piece! The glidelock is amazing, perfect fit! The colours just blend so well together and I love how subdue the rose gold is! OF is super comfortable no issues with fit as some have said.. The Daydate really is just on a whole new level, I’m absolutely over the moon with it. The dial is mesmerising, my only problem is I wish I just pulled the trigger 5 years ago haha I’ve had an awesome 7 year journey of buying and selling watches and have ended up with some amazing pieces in the collection. 7 years ago my ideal collection was a stainless submariner and a yellow gold DD40 as the holy grail end game piece, unfortunately I got the submariner and fell into the rolex rabbit hole of wanting every sports model first from various subs, gmts, Daytonas, Skydweller all in different metals and configurations. Lately I’ve almost been slightly bored and thought I might as well pull the trigger on my end game piece! Time to now trim down the collection a bit to about 5-6 pieces. The DD40 is a 2023 model year purchased from gray dealer and the Daytona is a 2024 model year I purchased from a friends friend for a tickle over retail! Daydate bracelet question - how many removable links do they come with on each side? :) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
