Aware a number of people have done this / tried this... was there ever a preferred solution for the spring bars?

The original BLRO bars are 1.5mm in diameter with a pivot size of 1.2mm, whereas the Sub bracelet uses 2.0mm diameter bars - so you can use the BLRO bars but they would be 'loose' within the end link of the 97200 bracelet.

I've seen some suggestions to use the YM bars from Everest which are 1.8mm with a pivot size of 1.2mm?

Does anyone have a definitive answer or perhaps found a better solution?
