Not so much PM/price point as it is collection/perspective, IMO. My DD40 is my daily, because I view it my archetypal watch; and it just so happens my lifestyle reasonably accommodates it and isn’t hard on watches. For others it may be too ostentatious, too bothersome to see it marked up from the daily grind, etc. To each their own. Do what makes sense for you. Same shite on car forums. If someone wants to drive their Zonda five miles over 10 years, because that is what makes them happy, that is their prerogative. And when you buy your own Zonda, you’re free to do whatever pleases you.
