New from The Woodlands, TX
My uncle gave me his old TT DJ Rolex in 1989 which looked pretty old at that time. Immediately after I got the watch I replaced the stock champagne colored face plate with a new black face plate. For the past 5 years I've favored a leather strap over the stock metal link bracelet.
I've spent about $700-800 over the past few years with various replacement parts and maintenance, but it still runs perfect today and I look forward to many more years of accurate time keeping with this beauty of a watch. In the TRF, I hope learn more about rich Rolex history and brand and hopefully resist the temptation to purchase any more watches (although I fear its just a matter of time now) |
