Diamonds falling off Raymond Weil

Hi.
Gave my wife a beautiful RW watch two yeaars ago. It´s a parsifal with diamonds all round on the bezel. Few weeks ago we noticed that 4 diamonds were missing (had fallen off). I took the watch to the dealer and he had the diamonds replaced and charged me $200.
I was wandering... should I rightfully pay for this?
Another question: My wife usually wears the watch when swimming and showering. Could the water harm or damage the ruggedness of the diamonds...??
