Sotheby's Auction Item
In case anyone is interested, the bidding on this item at the Sotheby's watch and clock auction to be held in New York on 6 December 2006 will start at about $1,500. It's estimated to go for between $1,500 and $2,000. But they are always notriously conservative with their estimates.
 Anyone care to start the bidding.
