Hello Everyone
Just joined the forum, although I have visited many times in the past (and always associate this forum with someone called 'JJ' for some reason!). Anyway, my liking for Rolex dates back to around 1980 when my boss at the time had a 1960's Rolex Oysterdate with cream dial. Eventually, I bought my first Rolex (a silver dialled secondhand Airking in 1994), since then I have owned and sold 2 Sub dates. Strangely, a couple of years ago I lost interest in Rolex, and bought an IWC 3717. I have now sold the IWC, and realise I missed the Sub, so have just bought an unused 2005 LV. I love the maxi-dial, and l also love having a watch with a cyclops again. One quality I have only just understood about Rolex is how beautifully they age. Other watches in my small collection are an Omega Planet Ocean 45mm, Fortis MarineMaster, Seiko SKXA35 diver (yellow) and a couple of CWC Auto divers (which I really like - only just discovered the Nato strap thing, and am really enjoying them). Other forum I spend a bit of time on is TZ-UK. Enough about me, nice to be here and thanks for reading. Kind regards Crispin |
