Thanks to my wife....
...for understanding
As some of you know, I got the IWC Ingenieur Plastiki last Friday. Love the watch, it is here to stay. Then, Thursday I found a Milgauss GV at a stellar price (actually, here on TRF ). Bought and paid for, arrived Saturday - and I love it every bit as much as I would. I know many here 'diss the Gauss' , but I think it serves an ideal purpose - clean dial, NOTHING besides time, and being a Rolex, it is an excellent everyday watch that can take some abuse. And if you're going to own a Milgauss - what better one than the Green Crystal? Got a call today from my friend, president of Martin Braun USA. Said my dream watch can now be put together. A PVD Selene Meteorite It will look like this: but with Meteorite dial and the moon-phase aperture at '12' instead of '9', which is how I prefer, like this one: That model was MY IDEA! If it catches on, I will get some of the credit (royalties) for it! Until then, I just have to have one. So, tomorrow I will be wiring funds for that sucker as well. On the bright side - the IWC scratched my long-standing itch for either an AP Royal Oak Offshore or a Hublot Big Bang King. Right up there with the size of 46.5mm, PLUS an in-house movement (unlike Hublot). And AP - the heck with it, I don't need another chrono - of course, until that WG Daytona comes along at a good price. See, I am a lost cause, told you!!!
