Refinishing/polishing
How often do any of you have your Rollies polished up (called refinished in the watch biz) in between the 5 year servicing? Just curious. My AD has a certified Rolex technician with him 3 days a week. He came out of retirement, I think with the Dallas center, and is allowed to work as a certified Rolex technician, and to do full servicing on watches, and he will refinish (polish up) any watch at no cost if purchased with the AD. He is the only person of his stature who can do what he does between Seattle and Sacramento. He indicated that so little metal is removed during any polishing that one can have their watches polished many many times. I was thinking of having him shine up my GMT just to see it glow anew. aws
