To me and my small 61/2" wrist, 39mm or 40mm is perfect. My GMT 2C fits perfectly. Another factor besides wrist size, is the width of the bracelet or band. My 40mm Concord Saratoga with a 25mm wide gator strap looks larger than my GMT. My 36mm Omega Constellation Double Eagle with a TT 24mm bracelet looks as big as the GMT.
