Who Wears Bracelet "Loose" or Snug Above Wrist?

I recently had my GMTIIc bracelet resized for the third time since Oct. 22. It just appeared that I could not get the bracelet to fit just a tad loose at the base of my wrist. This last resizing I decided to try snugging it up so the watch will stay put just above the bone above the wrist.
It is my understanding that this is the "proper" way to wear a watch especially if you wear it on the left arm. I always end up with a "permanent dent" on the back of my hand from the crown but I wore watches in this manner for 20 years.
So far it has simply been a matter of adjusting to the feel of the bracelet being snug however when I put it on in the morning my arm is "smaller" and the bracelet is loosE but I believe that after 20 years I finally wear my watch the right way!
Do most people wear the watch snugly above the "wrist bone"? I understand that it is personal preference.
Wonder Why Rolex Does Not Make A Left Handed Model!
