Datejust advice......
Just bought this Datejust 116200 at a great price........more on that later.
I kind of messed up one or two of the bracelet screwheads (appearance only) and need to buy a couple of new ones. I don't want to send the watch somewhere when I can easily do this myself, as soon as I get the two smaller microdriver bits for my Wiha set. Anyway, I need to know where I can get 2 ~ 3 screws. Also do you use any threadlock on these screws. Been considering Loctite Purple Jewelers Threadlock....opinions. Now about the purchase. Local BMW dealer gave this to the salesman of the year and he's not a watch guy. He posted it on Craigslist at $2750 and I couldn't wait to get my hands on it. Love the new bracelet and the smooth bezel! Met and offered $2500 and he took it! Brand new and unwrapped. Bought two rolexes in one week. Didn't plan to but when the deals show up I'll usually find a way. Here's the DJ along with the 14060M I bought this week |
