Strange Sea Dweller Behavior

I have a series D sea dweller and wear it a few time a week. I usually wind it when I first put it on for the day. I read on here that you can't over wind so I'll usually go 15 to 30 turns. Recently I noticed it would stop mid day so I would keep winding it and now the seconds hand will stop at the 50 mark until I shake it a little to get it moving again. At this point it's completey stuck and I can even hear a difference when trying to wind it like it can't be wound anymore.

Am I screwed and need to bring it in somewhere or can I fix this somehow myself.

Help!
