I was in my local AD today and was told on good authority by Avril Lafou, my favourite saleslady, that Rolex are about to merge with Timex to produce a budget submariner.

Apparently Rolex have decided that due to the GFC, a plastic quartz sub would be well received by their loyal customers.

To differentiate between the Rolex sub and the RoTimEx plastic watch a change of name would be required..
