Who will inherit our Rolexes? And should they?
I was just thinking about this.
At the current rate I'm going, I'm bound to have a sizeable collection. At age 27, a resident, I have 3 in my collection. Considering good job outlook, good investments, good health (hopefully) - I don't think it's out of the realm of possibility for 1 watch/year for the next 20 years. So considering the possibility of a near 2 dozen collection someday, what happens when I pass? I just stumbled over a thread earlier today that those who will inherit will merely bring it to the pawnshop before I even get embalmed. I am of the camp who believes that whoever inherits my 20 or so watches will keep it for as long as possible (unless they're financially strapped of course). So, what do you think is going to happen to your collection someday?
