GMT II winding question
Got my GMT II last December. It runs -1 to -1/2 sec per day. I've worn it everyday so no need to wind it. With a heavy work schedule this week I wore my Hammy beater and decided to hand wind the GMT II to keep it going.
Here's the question: when hand winding the GMT II you can hear a knocking noise when first turning clockwise. Feels like the movement is loose when winding but I see no signs it's loose [i.e. moving hands]. After winding clockwise there is no clicking noise turning the stem back counter clockwise. When the crown is screwed down it's as quiet as can be. My DJ does'nt do this. Could this be common to the GMT II movement? Thanks in advance, dP
