One lost , two gained ?

Well it is official now . I had my 1992 Fat Boy for sale at a garage since the beginning of the year . The garage keeper just called me to say that he has received the money in full .
My bike has been a true friend for over 15 years ( I bought it second hand from a good friend ) It was originally bought in Gibraltar , had UK plates , Belgian ,Portuguese plates , Spanish plates , French plates and now again Spanish plates .... 4 different color schemes and only 23K original miles .
I must have put on 2000 K over the last 4 years and it was really ridiculous to insure it every year and pay the road taxes just for that . I have plenty of friend that will borrow me their bike if I really want to go for a ride one day .
Still I'll miss it ... good memories

I'm looking at the bright side : The money will go towards a couple of vintage Rolex watches .. I guess people like Steven M. will benefit of that

Found some pictures : In Yellow with customized painting when in the south of Spain ( wife , son and yes the bassets ) and in grey as it was sold ( just had to replace the Santee exhaust to get if trough MOT )
