ALMOST traded my SS Daytona for AG!!!!

So, here is the situation. I'm on a rental car bus going from the airport to the pick up place. In front of me is an elderly gentleman wearing a WG Daytona, beautiful watch. I strike up a conversation, compliment him on his watch or something and he is very friendly. He states: "Yeah, I love the Daytona, but this thing is so dammed heavy, I wish I had gotten the lighter one, but they didn't have any available a couple years ago." I am assuming he means the SS so I take mine off and hand it to him.

"Wow!" He exclaims, "This thing is so light, it's perfect!"

"Well" I say, "If you'd like to trade you're welcome to it"

Of course I was kidding, but the guy looks at me.

"Really? Hmmmm.." And he looks my watch over and over, like he was REALLY CONSIDERING IT!!!!! I got the impression that money was not a factor to this gentleman, he was obviously well to do and was more interested in getting what he wanted then how much it would cost.

He looked over my watch very intently, put it on his wrist and kept commenting on how perfect the weight was, I really think he was considering it! At the same time, I was wearing his WG, Yes, it was real, and it was a beauty!!!!!

The bus stops at a rental place and he quickly looks up. "Oh, this is my stop, I have to run, have a good day!" And he huridly takes mine off and hands it back to me.... I reluctantly did the same with his as he ran off the bus.

WHY can't those Damm Rental car busses go SLOWER!!!!!
