help day date
After some weeks I purchased a Day Date and would like some information from you guys to see if this watch is what the dealer said it is. The reference of the watch is 18238 case number N128830. I have not taken off the bracelet to check the numbers between with lugs. Also I asked previously how can I tell if the bracelet of the watch is the original one. I believe that if the watch is an N then as far as the list is concerned it should be a 1991. I have looked at the numbers on the bracelet to see if there are any letters eg. on the list that you sent a 1991 watch day date gold should be marked P, but on inspection of the bracelet on the watch it comes up with the watch it has 8385. This is the same number on the Rolex that belongs to Imono who sent me a picture of his Rolex bracelet, he says his is the mid 80's. Can anybody help. If the case of the watch is an N - 1991, why is the bracelet 8385. The only other number on the clasp is on the opposite side of the clasp which vaguely reads R12.
Also is there any information you can give to what is acceptable play on the bracelet and how you can measure it. I look forward to your response. |
