Icon5 Is my 8.25" wrist too big for a 36mm Datejust?

I have long admired the classic SS Datejust, but have always felt that my wrist was too big for the face. My wrist measures 8.25" and I prefer watches in the 40-42mm range because anything else feels too dainty. I have been waiting for them to release the SS DJII w/ silver face and roman numerals, but I continue waiting... Also, I've read the comments of a lot of members bashing the DJII as being out of proportion.

All that being said, is a 36mm Datejust just too small for an 8.25" wrist? Does anyone with similar measurements have any pics of the watch on their wrist?

Thanks!
