Upgrade to 50 Anniversary GMT?

I went by my AD today to get them to move one link on my SS GMT from the 6 o’clock position to the 12 o’clock position. The clasp still isn’t centered (it is off the other way) put it is much more secure and comfortable this way. (5 at 6:00, 8 at 12:00)

Anyway while I was waiting to for them to move the link I was asking about the TT 50 anniversary GMT. The AD said that he had one but he just didn’t have it in the case, and he got it out for me.

Anyway, long-story short is that he would let me upgrade the new GMT that I purchased from him about 2 months ago to the 50 Anniversary GMT for $3,300.

Should I do it or continue to look for a nice used SUB or vintage GMT?
