mental break-in period?
Just wondered how long it takes to get over that initial protective period on a new watch. I have always had a bad habit especially with cars of keeping the mileage down, babying them, etc and the next guy gets a like new car cheap! When I got my used GMT years ago, it had a few blemishes and so I just wore it from the git go. Now with the new Sub I bought a few days ago, I'm getting paranoid again. Taking it off anytime I'm doing anything remotely risky to the watch, making sure my cuffs aren't apt to scratch, etc. I'm sure after I get a little wear on it I'll loosen up but its a little crazy till then. Also, wondered how many of you list your watch on your homeowners insurance. It's not cheap. I guess its a case of if you can't afford it.......
