Spring Loaded Fixed Bars - what is it?
Since I almost exlusively wear my Explorer 114270 on a strap, and more than once have found it hanging by a single spring bar on the wrist, I'm looking for a more secure solution. A company in London offers the "spring loaded fixed bar" option, but I can't seem to find out what they actually do. Is it simply a pair of shoulderless springbars mounted on a solid case (which I could do myself in 30 seconds), or is it something more advanced (price would certainly indicate the latter)?
The look is like the watch on the right (my 114270 on the left): If anyone has had this done, I'd appreciate their input.
