Winders (yes, again)
So, I've been looking at the threads on winders, and I know that lots of you guys out there in TRF-land don't like winders. But anyway, my wife and I both own two automatic watches - She has an Oyster Perpetual and a Sub-Date and I have an Explorer II and a Tag Monico. I'm probably going to get a Sub (or a Sea-Dweller or a Deep Sea) at some point. We'd like to get winders. Probably a single winder for her and and a double (or triple) for me.
I'd like winders that are dependable, but don't cut into the Rolex budget very much. They will go in our closets, so looks are relatively unimportant. Modular design would be nice, but isn't crucial. What do yo think of these: 4.0 by Wolf Just under $200/watch, modular, good brand Boxy winder Under $100, modular, reliable?? RHD winders $350/2 watches, $440/3, not modular, better looking, reliable?? If you were going to buy a winder (or two), would any of these appeal? Other options? Thanks L |
