Best first Rolex?

Hi all,

Like many of you, I've always seen the Rolex as the ultimate punctuation of having "made it." I never really had much growing up, but watching those James Bond movies gave me something to strive for. I worked my tail off my whole life and I now think I am financially ready to get my first Rolex.

My question is which Rolex to get? I want something durable, masculine, accurate, no-fluff type of watch. Previous watches I own are a GShock 6900, a Movado Eliro, and a Marathon TSAR and CSAR.

I think I want a Submariner, since that's what 007 wore, but my daily watch is already a tool watch (Marathon TSAR). The truth is I'm not very knowledgeable of Rolex watches and I need help in making the best choice for me. I have no qualms getting a pre-owned watch as long as it has long life ahead.

Thanks in advance
