Should I Trade My No Date Sub for Another Oysterquartz?

I am considering trading my Sub for another #17013 Oysterquartz because I don't feel right owning a 'sport' watch for the following reasons:

1) Diving: My dive instructor friend finally talked me into getting certified a few years back, and on our first dive trip and my very first real dive I got bumped by a white tip reef shark. Ok........diving career over in about 6 minutes flat.

2) Flying: I've had 2 very bad experiences on commercial flights and am now 100% scared stiff to ever get on a plane again, any plane.

3) Exploring: Forget about it......there's mosquitoes, you could twist an ankle, get heat stroke, venomous snakes.....nope, not for me. At my age, the only thing I want to 'explore' is the dinner buffet and cigar bar at a nice hotel.

4) Yachting: With all the money I've spent on watches in the past several years, I'm lucky if I could now afford a fiberglass canoe.

So there lies my dilemma, given my circumstances could I ever really be a proud Submariner owner when the only time it would ever see water is if I wore it in the shower? Any advice appreciated.
