It's always been my understanding (and it says so right on the RSC service quote form) that any parts the RSC installs are done on an exchange basis only. What if someone wanted to have a new bracelet installed and rather then sending the watch in intact with the old bracelet, they just sent in the head of the watch and requested a new bracelet installed?

Would Rolex charge the same price or more if there was no 'exchange' bracelet, especially on a bracelet containing gold or platinum?
