Just bought first ever Rolex

Hello all -

Just thought I'd drop a quick note to say hello from the UK. I bought my first Rolex today, a stainless steel GMT Master II, from Watches of Switzerland in London. Very pleased with the watch, though still nervous about it; I've never even come close to buying and wearing a watch this expensive before!

I'm new to this world of premium watches, though I have looked on longingly from afar for many years. I'm glad I took the plunge, and as I travel internationally multiple times a week for work, I think the GMT is a great option for me. I love that the hour hand moves independently of everything else, definitely the main reason I bought this watch.

Anyway, I seem to have a finger smudge on it now, so I better go polish it again. ;-)
