Why did I bother with the UK AD?

Hi!

Before today I was a great fan of buying from the AD. Wen't to my local AD (Leslie Davies) today to ask about a Sea Dweller Deep Sea.

Now, I was looking a little casual but I did have my WG DD on, and I had bought my WG Sub there only three months before.....

Left me standing for a good few minutes and I couldn't speak to the manager who helped me with my other purchase earlier in the year. Finally the assistant comes out and says "Its £5880 - what else do you want to know?"

Didn't get offered a seat, a drink, conversation, nothing. Discounts?? "Nope we never discount sports models and we've got 3 people on the waiting list for a Deep Sea already". It was a 20 second conversation

They let me walk straight out the door.

Hmmm, I wonder where I'll make my next purchase(s) from. Especially after the great experience I had buying a watch lately for my wife from DavidSW.
