FS: Omega Vancouver 2010 Limited Edition Seamaster Professional – MINT!

For sale is my 41mm Omega Seamaster produced especially for the Vancouver 2010 Winter Olympics. This is a limited edition with just 2,010 of this model produced worldwide. (Omega reference number 212.30.41.20.04.001.)

The watch is individually numbered on the back of the case and comes with a certificate of authenticity:

The watch is simply superb. The anodized red bezel and the white (like snow) lacquered dial represent the Canadian flag, the home of the Vancouver 2010 Winter Olympics. The second hand features the Olympic rings on the counterweight. The other end of the second hand is red tipped, while the hands are all rhodium plated, and coated in white Super-LumiNova:

The hands glow blue in the dark, the color of ice, another reference to the Winter Olympics:

The watch was purchased on March 23rd of this year (2010) from an authorized Omega dealer. The watch is MINT (98-100%) according to the TimeZone Grading System. The watch comes the three year Omega International warranty which follows the watch and not just the original owner. This means that the current owner may utilize any Omega service center in the world for warranty repairs if these are ever needed. This is unlike most new watches purchased on eBay or from gray market dealers as these are not covered by the Omega’s warranty but by the seller of the watch only - not much use if the seller is in another country.

The functions of the screw-down crown are:
1) Screwed in - watch is water resistant to 300 meters (provided the Helium escape valve is also screwed in - see below).
2) Unscrewed - manual winding, useful if the watch has stopped if it hasn't been worn for some time.
3) One click - change the date.
4) Two clicks - stop the second hand and adjust the hours and minutes.

The crown near the 10:00 position is the Helium escape valve and is used to release Helium gases that build up if diving to very deep depths. This should be screwed in for the watch to be water resistant to 300 meters. If this is unscrewed, the watch is still water resistant to 50 meters.

The bracelet and case are stainless steel, and the red bezel rotates counterclockwise. When turned the bezel clicks distinctly and lines up exactly with 12:00 as you would expect from a quality watch.

The cal. 2500C co-axial movement keeps excellent time, well within COSC standards.

The bracelet includes all links including two half links and will fit up to an 8 inch wrist. The watch will be shipped with all original packaging. This includes the special "Vancouver 2010 Winter Olympics" inner and outer boxes, the wallet with all 4 Omega cards (one more than usual to confirm the limited edition number), a certificate of authenticity which also confirms the limited edition number, two hang tags, and the usual instruction manual.

The MSRP is $3850 but I am asking $2600 + $40 CONUS shipping & PayPal fees.
