Chipped Surface?

I discovered that the smooth brushed surface can chip off leaving a smooth mark that can be seen under light.

It happened at the buckle area above the Rolex crown.

I was quite annoyed and brought it to RSC and they polished it off.

They refused to change a new buckle.

Quite annoyed that i have to polish a new watch.

Now, i noticed another small chipped surface at one of the link. Not very visible under light though.

How can this happen? No QA or poor finishing?
