Best watch, work rest and play

I know its been asked before but I was thinking of maybe becoming a one watch guy.
I rotate 4 or 5 watches at the moment favouring 2 or 3 of them depending what I'm upto.
I have a manual job in a hotel and like to be outside when I can around water.
You can see what I have now though I have just sold the Breitling.
I've been tempted more than once to sell up and buy a GMT 2c but the horror stories put me off a bit and I would probably have the links brushed when they lose their shine.
I do like dive type watches though I don't dive its just nice to know that you can.
7.5 inch wrist and dont want to mutch bulk. Had a Breitling Chrono Avenger for a while. really liked it but is was a magnet for door frames.
I wear the Omega GMT often and it suits in many ways but my watch budget has risen so on the look out for THE IDEAL WATCH.
If I sold my 3 remaining watches I guess I would have around 3.5-4K for a new or used item.
Any thoughts on any brand ?
