A. Hi and thanks a lot for the email. It's good to hear someone else vouching for it's authenticity. I have handled the piece several times in the past few months and, for what it's worth, it feels like a solid piece of quality. But it's the only Rolex i've ever handled, so what do i know...! I also had the same thought about copying old Rolexes: It seems like something no-one would bother doing, when they can get loads more money for the same effort copying new models.
