Sub C Green Gold Controversy

This just in from a "reliable source!" The term "green gold", originally used by Rolex to describe the dial, was given because the color was actually made with gold; a combination of 18K yellow gold, aluminum, and other metal combinations to give the dial its green gold color. It is NOT paint. I feel confident this is factual reliable info. I'm still waiting to find out if the entire dial consists of this alloy or if it is only a surface "veneer" of alloy. As most of you know, the Rolex website has changed its description of the dial from Green Gold to Green.
