It's about time...
...I introduced myself.
I've been visiting TRF for a long time now, but only earlier this year I was given my 1st rolex by my father (an N-series Date black dial with jubilee bracelet he had for about 20 years but didn't wear for 5 or more) and later was given a Sub 16610 by my grandfather as grad gift. Sorry for the crappy pic, my only camera is my iphone, but i'll be taking better pics when I get an Iphone 4 next week. Now I just feel more like I belong here so I thought it was the time to introduce myself. I really like both watches a lot, and though the Sub is more appropriate for my age (23) and usual attire, I just can't like one more than the other. There was a thread asking about why do people love their rolexes and I guess it's mostly because they're great watches if you just consider them watches, but they can be even more if you want (like the experience you have on the forum, full of nice people etc...). Unlike most of you I don't live in the US (which I guess is somehow a good thing, cause it's harder for me to spend all the money I have on watches on the FS section... they are just so cheap compared to most south american countries such as BraSil, written with an 'S' down here...) I also have other watches, like a Tag Heuer Golf which is great for working out or playing sports a a very expensive (for me) Chopard Mille Miglia GMT, but my rolexes always seem to find their way back to my wrist... Anyway, thanks for everyone in the forum for helping me develop my passion for Rolex! |
